On November 12th, 2015, students, campus workers, and adjunct professors at UPenn, Drexel, Community College of Philadelphia, and Temple will be joining colleges across the nation to march for student power. We are marching for:
1) Tuition-free public college
2) Cancellation of all student debt
3) $15/hr campus-wide minimum wage at every college in the country
In addition to these national-level demands, student at Penn will call for a $15 minimum wage across Penn's campus and for the University to invest in the community by paying PILOTs to Philadelphia public schools.
We will assemble at the Perelman Quadrangle on campus, while we hold a speak-out/rally and deliver a letter with our demands to the Penn administration. Then we will march east, joining the Drexel contingent, and finally rally in front of City Hall with students from throughout the city to address the government and public at large with our national demands.
